Physalis

Physalis, also known as the cape gooseberry or ground-cherry, is native to Central and South America. The fruit is a small round berry, about the size of a marble, full of small seeds. It is bright yellow when ripe, and very sweet, making it ideal for baking in pies and making jam.

Passionfruit

Passionfruit is a round purple/red fruit. It has a leathery skin which starts to wrinkle when it ripens. The inside of the passionfruit has edibile seeds like all passiflora. Passionfruit has a sweet taste and aroma. The transportation of passionfruit can differ from air, truck to sea, depending on its origin. 

Maracuja

The maracuja is part of the passiflora family and has similar specifications. Edible seeds with a yellow-orange pulp inside. The maracuja has a tangy flavour compared to other passiflora.

Granadilla

The grandilla is easy to peel, like an egg. The skin is hard, and therefore easy to break. Peel or cut this fruit and discover its sweet flavour and edible seeds.  

Curuba

The banana passionfruit also known as curuba is one of the special passiflora. A curuba is long-shaped with round ends. The inside is sweet with pulp and edible seeds like all passiflora.
