Atemoya

The Atemoya is part of the Annonaceae family. This family has over 2000 different spiecies and some of them are edible.  The taste and looks of the Atemoya are very unique. The sweet taste also resembles vanilla from its sugar-apple parent. The looks of an Atemoya are normally heart-shaped or rounded, with a pale-green, easily bruised, bumpy skin.

The kiwano or horned melon is an orange-green fruit related to the cucumber and melon. With its spikes and colour it has a real exotic look. The green pulp with seeds tastes fresh and reminds you of a cucumber. A kiwano contains a lot of water. In the right circumstances the kiwano remains fresh up to 6 months. Therefore this fruit is often used as decoration.

Pepino Melon

The pepino melon is an oval-shaped exotic fruit from South America. A pepino turns from green to yellow when it matures, it develops purple stripes during this process. The pepino is related to an eggplant variety.
